Sponsored in part by Slow Food San Francisco, ARTdeezine LLC hosts this annual event exploring the culture and style of San Francisco neighborhoods through art and food. In celebration and support of local art, food and wine, we invite local artists of all mediums to participate and promote their art. Then we donate the proceeds from the event to a local charity or individual in our community that we believe is doing positive things locally or is in need of help. This year all proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Nicks Rad Recovery Fund.

Celebrate 5 years with us!

ARTasting 2010 is extra special because it also marks ARTdeezine's 5th year in business in the sunny Mission District of San Francisco! To celebrate, the event will focus on the art, food and style of the diverse, colorful neighborhood, the Mission! Local art will be showcased at the event as well as in a 2011 calendar that each guest will take home. Each guest 21 and over will also receive a logo glass and 4 wine tasting tickets. Guests will sample some of the amazing, award winning wine currently coming out of Calaveras County. Guests will enjoy complimentary appetizers, cheese and fruit upon arrival. Then guests will have the opportunity to sample small bites and purchase street food offered by local vendors including a special guest appearance from the infamous "Tamale Lady", a Mission legend in her own time! Finish the evening with chocolate and other tasty treats also offered by local vendors. 

Enjoy a variety of local music...

The entertainment this year will be awesome, beginning the evening with a local Jazz Trio and ending the evening with DJ Hungr and his Starvin' For Beats Crew with a couple fun surprises in between including the one and only Breakfast, singing Hyper-educational songs for your inner child, classical music, storytelling, North Indian ragas, zany comedy ditties, and more are all on the menu. Breakfast has performed throughout the USA and all over the world, and now he's bringing his delicious, nutritious brand of music to ARTasting 2010.

Surprises up our sleeve...

There will be door prizes while supplies last (so don's show up fashionably late or you'll miss out). We will also be raffling food, wine and lifestyle gifts... and for those of you who attended our first event in 2006, we are bringing back the plant raffle. All the plants used to decorate the space will be raffled off at the end of the night so you'll want to come early and stay late!
